I had two job offers, the Wheat Berry Cafe and Williams-Sonoma. In the end, I picked Williams-Sonoma. Why? Well, for one, the WheatBerry Cafe would have been stressful. They were putting me in the position of "Prep" where I had to work "really fast" to keep up and they would "train me as time permitted" (I always hate that because I'm supposed to work fast whilst I don't know how to do it well). Plus, they do have a probationary period to see if you can "cut it", so to speak. Now I'm not saying I wouldn't have worked my butt off to try and make it, but it just seemed quite stressful if I could get another job with less intensity. So WS offered me a position with a few less hours, but a buck more an hour in pay, and with a staff that is quite nice (Fuller students plus all around nice people). I just can't thank God enough for the offers and supplying me such a great job and opportunity to make money. "Thank you Lord for meeting me and my wife's needs. Amen!"

So did having your past job experience help out on your resume?
right on. that is jamies favorite store. she spends a small fortune every time she enters the place.
you are going to love it there. the equipment is awesome, the food is great, it is a great place to be.
congrats.
Thanks for the congrats! And yes, I do believe my past experience did help. Due to the nature of the store, however, I think my personality won the day during the interview more so than my previous work.
