The all-time famous quote from "V for Vendetta"

who are you?

"This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vangquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-a-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

This sounds really cool, but what the heck does it all mean? For anyone who wouldn’t understand this speech without the help of a dictionary, here is a translation:

“This face/appearance, not simply a superficially valuable or pleasing appearance of vanity, is the face/appearance of the “voice of the people”/popular opinion, now empty, gone, as the once necessary to life voice of the appearance or semblance of truth now regards with respect what they once spoke ill of/slandered. However, this courageous visit of a past irritation, has been enlivened/given life, and has solemnly pledged to destroy these open to bribery and actively poisonous rodents taking the lead in and moving forward an immoral or evil habit and granting the violently ferocious and exceedingly eager infringement of will/desire.
The only judgment is revenge, a blood feud, held as undertaken/performed, not without reason or cause, for the value and genuineness of such shall one day prove correct the watchful and the virtuous. In truth, this thick creamy potato soup of overabundance of words turns most long-winded in comparison with an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.”
