Cinaio schlowq. Chilo!
This is the profile of the new character that I have become here in Santa Clarita. My cousins and I made up an idea of me pretending to know a different language and cannot understand english at all. It was really funny to pretend to be from a different country. In fact, one of the ladies at the counter said I "had a nice accent". Of course, I only knew she said that because my good pal Toby.....translated it to me. HAHA
Name: Zibbie Zenki (friends call him "Zib")
Age: 22
Permanent Residence: Croatia (small province in Eastern Asia)
Temporary Residence: Santa Clarita
Occupation: High-tech computer programmer currently working for Microsoft in translating programs into the Croatian language.
Note: Zibbie's mother was married to a Croatian diplomat, Solm Zenki, while participating in a Missions Trip. Zibbie's Mother, Renae Baugh, decided to stay in Croatia and raise her new family there. Every five years or so, Renae Zenki would visit the states and introduce Zibbie to his family in America (from where he met his cousins, Jamie, Toby, and Cyrus). Jamie and Toby learned the Croatian language from Renae both before her mission trip years ago, as well as during the many visits in the States. Due to the busy lifestyles of his father and mother, Zibbie never learned English.
During his teen years, Zibbie showed immense promise and talent with computer technology. As of today, Zibbie is a high paid associate of the Microsoft company. He will be staying in the states for the next two years.

"Goliath online"
You guessed it, phones lines are back up! That phrase "Goliath online" came from the Starcraft game, in which everytime you selected the Goliath machine, they would say "Goliath online". Now that you got the "Nerd Info" from Jeremiah Courter, I believe we shall proceed onto things that matter most.
My first two days of school were great. My hardest class is an upper division class called "Old Testament Theology". There will be about 16 pages worth of typing on certain study assignments and then a 22 page semester project paper that we can do on "Any Old Testament Theology". PLUS, there is A LOT of reading. This class will definitely beat the crap out of me, but I am up for the challenge and all the stress and pain that I shall receive from it.
I got to meet some of Cryus' lady friends last week. They are very nice girls. Their names are Kelly and Meredith. Sometime next week, Cyrus will be introducing me to some of his guy friends and we will kick back and watch a movie (or something like that).
I simply love living with my cousins. They are all really nice and I must admit that I do feel at home down here. I plan on heading down to San Diego around the 18th or the 19th, depending on some few "details" with a friend.
Oh yeah, and my school is TOTALLY against "post-modern" ideas. LOL. The more classes I go to, the more that phrase gets looked at with disgust...Interesting
Anyways, that is all for now.

Back in town
I'm back home right now. I needed to pick up some medical records and run a bunch of other errands that need to be taken care of. I'll be leaving tomorrow morning to head back. My cousins have planned on hanging out this upcoming Saturday and we are going to see "The Phantom of the Opera". I have been eagerly waiting to see this movie and I am told it is fantastic. Anyone seen it yet?
I'm also a huge fan of live theatre, but tragically I have only been to two live plays. Linda said she would buy us all some tickets and go downtown to a live theatre show. That will be fun!
Oh and Toby, as for the question you told Jamie to ask me:
There's "nothing" down there.

Phone lines are down
Presently I am hanging with my cousin Jamie at our other cousin's house....if you could understand what I just said. The place where I am living with have no phone lines right now, due to the massive storms that have occurred. They only have dial-up, so I will be more consistent sometime this weekend when the phones are working.
Everything is great down here. My cousin Linda is so nice and has given me my own phone, my own room, food, EVERYTHING! Its almost like I never moved....sort of :P
I had lunch at a place called "Hill Cafe" off of Angeles Crest and I had a shrimp fajita, yum! I met Jamie there, along with my totally rad nana. Love ya Nan!
I officially start school on Monday. All this week there is parts of orientation scattered throughout. Its a little annoying because most of its redudant AND I was told orientation was only from 9-12 on Monday. They didn't mention that there would be several things throughout the week. Thats a little frustrating.
My time at Master's College will be awesome and kind of interesting. I'm totally into the whole "PostModernism" and Master's College is totally against it. So it will be fun writing papers and anticipating what my Prof's might say. HAHA!

End of an "Era"
I got this line, "End of an era", from Friends (naturally), but it actually fits today. I'm up late, looking at my room that I need to finish cleaning, and at the piles of clothes I need to fold and put in my duffle bag. Today I will be leaving to my cousins house to start school soon and begin a new aspect of life. LOL I know its not like this is the "end" or somehow I will never return home, but its a big difference in my life. One profound thing that is going to change is my time with one of my closest friends, Ryan. For the past two years, me and him have gone through a lot of rough times, and through it all we became closer than we ever have in the 17 years that we've known each other. I remember a year ago, how we watched the first 6 seasons of friends in 2 and a half weeks! We hung out AAALL the time! We shared so many laughs and came up with the dumbest games that would only make us laugh all the more! Such great memories. Obviously, now that he has been working the past few months, our "hanging out time" has dwindled, but yet we would always make time to be "Ryan and Jeremiah". haha. That's who we were, "Ryan and Jeremiah". Now its the end of an era and we are growing up. We won't have time to do that stuff anymore. What I mean by that, is there won't be three month periods where we hang out EVERY night and watch TV and think of lame games that only we find funny. With my other friends, I have been use to having "increments" of time with them. But with Ryan, I have had 17 years of hanging out all the time. He's closer than a brother to me.
I never thought it would hurt so much.
Ryan, my brother, thanks for always being there for me. I couldn't have done it without you. You are a true friend. I love you man.

Return of the King...and stuff
Tonight i'll be watching the extended edition of "Return of the King" with my brother. Gotta hang out a bit with my bro before I take off. Did you know that the extended version is 4 hours and 10 minutes! Darn right! That's a lot of Fantasy baby!
I'm basically just running errands, buying clothes, cleaning my room, all the while missing a couple of my close friends who left for San Diego a couple of weeks ago.
By the way, "A Game of Thrones" is a FANTASTIC book! It is one of the best fantasy stories I have ever read, besides Goodkinds of course. So all who like fantasy, it is a must to read this book. I can't wait to get started on the second book, "A Clash of Kings".
Oh, and last night I watched "Meet Joe Black". As slow as that movie is, I thoroughly enjoy it!

Funny "Facts"
These "facts" I found on another blog, so I must say that they are not originally mine...but I did want to share them to all of ya!
TRUE FACTS
" Regular naps prevent old age especially if you take them while driving."
"True friends stab you in the front"
" Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right and the other is the husband !"
" Don't marry the person you want to live with, marry the one you cannot live without....... but whatever you do, you'll regret it later."
" You can't buy love . . . but you pay heavily for it"
"Marriage is give and take. You'd better give it to her or she'll take it anyway."
" My wife and I always compromise. I admit I'm wrong and she agrees with me."
" Those who can't laugh at themselves leave the job to others."
" Saving is the best thing. Especially when your parents have done it for you."
I thought some of those were really funny. Just on a side note, in four more days I'll be at my cousins house. Can't wait!

Science we all can understand..
Valuable scientific data.
The following are two proposed additions to the periodic table of elements (from chemistry class):
Element name: woman
Symbol: WO
Atomic weight: (don't even go there)
Physical properties: Generally round in form. Boils at nothing and may freeze at any time. Melts when treated properly. Very bitter if mishandled.
Chemical properties: Very active. Highly unstable. Possesses strong affinity with gold, silver, platinum, and precious stones. Volatile when left alone. Able to absorb great amounts of exotic food. Turns slightly green when placed next to a shinier specimen.
Usage: Highly ornamental. An extremely good catalyst for dispersion of wealth. Probably the most powerful income reducing agent known.
Caution: Highly explosive in inexperienced hands.
Element name: man
Symbol: XY
Atomic weight: (180 +/-50)
Physical properties: Solid at room temperature, but gets bent out of shape easily. Fairly dense and sometimes flaky. Difficult to find a pure sample. Due to rust, aging samples are unable to conduct electricity as easily as young samples.
Chemical properties: Attempts to bond with WO any chance it can get. Also tends to form strong bonds with itself. Becomes explosive when mixed with KD (Element: child) for prolonged period of time. Neutralize by saturating with alcohol.
Usage: None known. Possibly good source of methane. Good specimens are able to produce large quantities on command.
Caution: In the absence of WO, this element rapidly decomposes and begins to smell.

Tsunami
This post is only a quick reminder to keep in prayer the great tragedy that has caused almost 200,000 deaths in the Eastern countries.
"Heavenly Father, I ask that you will continue to place your hand upon these people who have experienced such devastating tragedy. So many are asking "Why?" and few answers can be given in such a dark hour in history. But just like the horrendous tragedy of 9/11, may Your light shine through and cause people to rise up and help the hurting around them. More then the answer to "Why?", I ask that the response of others will be focused on action. Action full of love for their fellow neighbors. Let not this tragedy become a weapon of evil, rather let it be used as a instrument of miracles......I can't imagine their pain. I ask that you will grieve my spirit deeply with overwhelming sorrow so I can catch a glimpse of what they are experiencing. Abba, Father, comfort them. Amen."

Blessed be the day when the strength of a man is not measured by the weight of iron he can hold over his head, but by his ability to say "no" when his body says "yes".

Weddings
I've only been to three weddings and I must say that they are perhaps one of the most beautiful ceremonies. I was talking to my friend the other day about weddings and I must say that I can't wait to get married. LOL. Of course, being a hopeless romantic that I am, thats predictable (but not too soon though. I still have school to do and other things as well).
Speaking of weddings, I know a certain couple that should be venturing down this road SOON! *coughs* TOBY* *coughs, gasps, cough* JAMIE *coughs again*
HAHAHA! Toby, I'm afraid its time buddy!
Anyone been to a wedding that they absolutely loved? Please feel free to talk about it.

CHAINFIRE
Terry Goodkind's new book, Chainfire, is now out baby!! It's the ninth addition to the Sword of Truth series. By far, the best fantasy series ever. There is suppose to be a total of 11 books. This ninth one being the first in the Chainfire Trilogy. I don't doubt Goodkind's ability to finish a series off with a bang, but I sure hope its a big one!
Anyone else got it yet? Has anyone read it so far?
I'm still deciding on whether I should start the book or not. Right now I'm reading A Song of Ice and Fire series by GRR Martin and I think I might continue that for awhile. Why, you might ask? I'LL TELL YOU WHY! *clears his throat* For one, it is a great series so far, and TWO, I will have to wait a long while for the 10th book to come out in Goodkind's series. ALAS! Why must I be plagued with the burden of patience!
Either way, I'm still comtemplating on what I might do next.

Troy
I watched "Troy" for the first time yesterday and I must say that it is an EXCELLENT movie! I would give it an A-
Very powerful, fantastic acting, beautiful score (naturally it would be. James Horner is the best composer out there), plenty of action, massive character development....etc...etc....etc.
Although Achilles was "cool" in the sense of the Lone Ranger who submits to know one, I must admit that I thought Prince Hector was my favorite character. He was a man of great integrity, honor, devotion to his country, and love and faithfulness to his wife and child. Eric Bana played his part perfectly.
Everyone who has not seen this movie....well you MUST!! Apollo demands it! ..............what?

The Countdown
I'm heading down to my cousins house on the 16th. Man, its sooo crazy to think that I am finally going off to school. Kind of scary but it rocks baby!!
I've had such an amazing time this vacation. Most of my friends have left, but my good pal Damian is still here....that pathetic ugly piece of.....JUUUUST KIDDING!
Anyways, now that I'm done being an idiot (quite impossible I might add). How are you all doing? (talks in a british accent) Cheerio!!
Top of the morning to ya laddies!!

Poem time! Oh yeah!
This poem was written awhile back. I tried placing my head in a person whose world is collapsing all around them (for whatever reason).
Please, Carry Me?
If there is ever a time of emptiness…it is now,
Falling into the Fallen;
The crush of beautiful destruction…
Wave upon wave,
Death crashing around,
Drifting me away from my long lost world.
I can feel the acid burn,
Gurgling up my throat,
Spelling my sins upon the ground
The windows of my soul,
Blackened by disobedience,
Always seeking what doesn’t belong.
The graceful footsteps, a single trail behind,
I ask for mercy,
That they be not mine,
Carry me…
