Yeah, so now I'm working Wednesday nights from 800 to 1130pm at the Canyon Cafe. The CC is a place on my campus. I wanted a few extra hours of work and that was the only available time, so I took it. However, I didn't want to drive home after work at 2pm, then drive back for work at 8. So, I decided that I would stay in the library during that time and study and do all my homework. I know 6 hours is a long time, but I could always use more time to study (I simply don't do it enough as is).
Hopefully the job will be something that is enjoyable and not annoying.
Either way, I thank God for the opportunity to have a job and make money. Speaking of being thankful, I think I will mention a few things in my life that I am thankful for. As such, I ask you cousins out there to make a blog of seven things you are thankful for. Here's my list:
I am thankful for:
1) Rebecca. A thousand words could not begin to describe my precious Appleblossom. ;) She's a wonder in my life that I am truly blessed to have. Her passion for the Lord has spurred me to desire God more and be a better example of what it means to be like Christ. She truly is my greatest friend in whom has taught me so many things. She has earned my deepest trust and has the key to my heart. I am, no doubt, a better person because of her. Our love is something I will forever cherish.
2) Jamie and Toby. I would probably have to say they are the COOLEST people ever! They both have a heart of gold, and their selfless love towards one another has been nothing short of beautiful. Anyone who meets them knows the quality people they are. They are always there when family is in need and I give them all the thanks for everything they have done for Al and Susie.
3) Josh. For always being a phenomenal brother. There has never been a greater example of a kind heart as my big brother. Hated by no one. Loved by all. The best.
4) THE JEWS! Linda, John, and Cyrus are such great people. I can never thank them enough for allowing me to live with them and for feeding me...for FREE! I hope one day I can show them my appreciation for all they have done. May God bless them always.
5) My parents. I could not have asked for better parents. Period. I was raised in a house full of love and appreciation. I was never neglected and was always encouraged to do my best in whatever I did. They are powerful role models to me and I truly thankful for them.
6) My grandparents. I love them so much! They are like good pals to me. They are way rad people and have been the epitome of what it means to be fun grandparents. Some of my fondest memories are with them. I hope with all my heart that they know how much they are cherished and loved by me.
7) My car. Yep, thats right, my CAR!! I know its old, beat up, and probably won't last longer than a couple of years, but its a CAR! It gets me around and I am grateful to have a WORKING vehicle.
Well, there's my short list. I'm eager to read all of your guys'. So get to it!!
