I have a very dear friend of mine, whom I consider a sister, named Kelsey. She is one of the coolest people I have ever met. There is simply way too many stories to post about her and our many "adventures" during the summer, so I will hold out on the exhaustive trek for now.
I just wanted to put up a little post for her to let everyone know about her blog. She wrote a touching post about me and Pepsi. If any of you want to check it out, here is the url:

Thanksgiving weekend
I had a great time over thanksgiving weekend. I got to hang out with Ryan and the guys and my bro. We had a tiny Firefly marathon and we all watched The House of Wax for kicks and laughs (Paris Hilton died by having a pole shot through her head. I know its really bad, but that seriously was the best part of the movie). Anyways, I got to hang out with Rebecca, and I had the greatest of times doing it. We read the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe together(A kiss to you my love). Can't wait for the movie!!!
Ryan finally cut his hair and donated it to locks of love. He actually looks really good and a heck of a lot younger! The dude looks like he is in high school again. hehe, loser.
I got an 81% on my last hebrew test. Everyone in the class thought it was insanely brutal. It makes me worry about the final. But I've decided to start studying extra for it these next couple of weeks.
Jamie, Toby, you guys rock by the way. Just figured I'd let you know that.
Cyrus, you won't read this so I'm just going to say that you smell something awful.
Josh, good times with Firefly man. I'll be awaiting the next marathon! you rock too dude.
Rebecca......well I'll save my words and my...affection for you this upcoming weekend. ;) ;) ;)
A tad over two more weeks and I'm done with school this semester. Man, its going to go by so fast. I really can't believe that the semester is almost over. Well, here it goes!!!

The passing of a good friend
Call me crazy, I do not care. I've always been an animal person, but I've never once been attached to an animal in a way that I could relate to as a friend...except for Pepsi. Pepsi wasn't just a dog to me, but a friend. She was there for me during rough times in which I could just hold her and she would always be so happy and give me kisses and listen (obviously dogs can't actually understand in any way, but sometimes it just seems like they can). She died last night after being attacked by a retarded blind dog.
My dad gave me the news this morning and as I broke down into tears, I realized that my Pepsi won't be waiting for me when I come home thanksgiving. She won't be on my bed when I come back home late at night, with her little stub tail waggling as I walk in the door. I don't care what others may think, but my heart is breaking to think that my little Pepsi won't be home anymore. She was a good friend. I was so looking forward to seeing her....and now I can't. I didn't even get to give her one last hug...that dumb dog, I wish I didn't care so much...

Goblet of Fire
Thats right, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is now out and I'm going to be watching it!!! WOO - HOOOO!!! I've only read through the first three and I would have read the rest in the past couple of months, but I got plenty of others books I HAVE to read. But you know what? I would rather watch it before reading the books, because usually people who haven't read it have a lot easier time accepting the movie for what it is instead of complaining about all the "stuff" it "didn't have" in it.
I gave my presentation on Ralph Waldo Emerson's Transcendentalism yesterday and it went quite well. Teaching can be quite fun. But now that it is over with, as well as my lame Hebrew test, its all down hill to Thanksgiving. Oh I can't wait to be home and see my friends, family, turkey (hmmmmmm...tuuuuurkey), and of course....to see my Rebecca. Kiss to you my love and I hope you are having a great day!
sorry Toby, no kisses for you bro. Alrighty, time to get ready for my class and then....*drum roll please*.......

Jabber Jabber
Presently, I am sitting in BSC 200 and awaiting for my New Testament Survey II class to begin. I don't have a whole lot to report, except that my Hebrew Test was this morning. I believe I did fine on it. That test was ridiculous. The amount of memorization needed to be up to speed for the test is virtually impossible. 324 vocab words plus all the new grammar that we learned. Anyways, I have another Scripture that I wish to share that I think is really rad.
"For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30:5
This just makes me think of how good God is. I'm honored to be considered His child.
I hope all you people are having a wonderful day...except for Toby...naaah I'm just kidding Toby....no seriously, I hope you don't. Dude!!! I'm just kidding. LOL. Good times.
....seriously...don't....SYKE!!
....I'm done....

The distant future
Its crazy to think that after this semester I will be graduating in a little over a year. Right now I'm already looking into possible grad schools. Grad school! I mean, thats were rocket-scientists go, right? I'm looking into grad schools here in California that will supply a degree in either Theology, Religious Studies, or possibly philosophy. This upcoming Friday there will be 27 representatives of 27 different grad schools on campus. Biola and Claremont will be two of them that I am interested in. So we'll see what they have to offer. I'll definitely look into a couple in San Diego and even possibly UCLA. Kind of scary and a little intimidating.
These next two weeks will be a bit of a hassle. I have a major Hebrew test coming up on Monday and I have a mini-presentation in front of my teacher tomorrow, WHICH the actual presentation will be the following Thursday. And, hopefully, if I get a call from that computer guy, I will be working next week which means less time to work on my project. But once the following weekened comes, all will be well and I will only be concerned about the three remaining days till Thanksgiving.
And also, Rebecca might be going on her ministry team this summer again. Although I will miss her dreadfully, it will be quite exciting. Their team reaches out to so many hurting kids and its quite an opportunity to be a part of those kids lives. Please lift up your thoughts and prayers to her in regards to following God where He leads her.
PEACE...
