Alright, this is quite a funny story, considering its source. So Linda came back home last night from a business trip and she tells me, "I almost brought you home something." No doubt I was curious, so I asked what it was. So she began her short little story.
Linda was at the airport and was hopping aboard the plane to head back home. She gets to her seat and there is an empty seat in the middle with another person on the other side. So a mother and her child come up to her and the mother tells her son that he could sit in the middle and that she would sit in the back seat just right behind him (considering there was only a middle seat available where Linda was as well as the seats behind her). Of course, the kid wasn't too happy about the idea. However, Linda being the nice person that she is, offers up her seat so the mother and child could sit together. As a response, the mother thanks her graciously and then hands her a tiny pamphlet and says "Jesus loves you". At this point in the story, Linda tells me "I already knew Jesus loved me. I didn't need a pamphlet for that. I mean, come on, I live with you Jeremiah". So she proceeds to sit in the middle seat, directly behind where she was sitting. But to her right was this grisly, BIG man with a large burrito in his hand and scruffed up hair. Immediately he goes into how bad his day has been and all the crap he is having to deal with right now. Taking the opportunity presented to her, Linda hands him the pamphlet (which is all about how Jesus loves you and wants you to be saved) and replies, "Here, Jesus loves you!" The man has a HUGE smile on his face, thanks her, and then puts it in his pocket.
I just thought that was absolutely hilarious. Anyone who knows Linda knows exactly what I mean. She then tells me "So you were going to get a tiny pamphlet about Jesus, but instead I had to let someone know that Jesus loves them". Hahaha, my Jewish aunt just evangelized! LOL.

Quote of the Week 9/28
"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
~Apostle Paul
"Lord Jesus,
I thank You for who You are and all the wonderful mercies and grace that You have given me. I ask that You will continue to help those who have been affected by these horrible hurricanes. May Your love burst out from these dark times and give aide to the oppressed.
I am grateful for what I've been given. In Your holy Name, amen."

Romeo & Juliet
So this upcoming friday I'm going to a live play of Romeo & Juliet in San Diego. Rebecca invited me along, so I will be staying there Friday night, and then come on back on Saturday.
I've only been to about 2 or 3 plays and I remember loving them! Live plays are a blast, so I'm hoping that this turns out well. Of course, its hard to beat the new version of Romeo and Juliet, but hey, ya never know!
Okay, get this, its just hilarious. First of all, I must say that I love Linda and I think she is a blast. A couple of days ago, I was going to make a sandwich for dinner, but there wasn't any bread (or so I thought). So Linda comes home and finds out I didn't make a sandwich because there was "no bread". She laughs and goes to the freezer and takes some sourdough bread out. Of course, I didn't know about that, but considering I didn't, I've now been declared someone who "can't make sandwiches". I also forgot to feed the dog one night, from which she concluded that me and Cyrus don't feed the dog. Its actually really funny!!
I'm incapable of cooking anything and I'm as helpless as a puppy. *shrugs* aaahh yes. Well, I guess that means I don't EVER have to cook!! HAHAHA Love you Linda. You rock!!
