Summer's End

I can't believe that summer is coming to its end already. Just last Wednesday was my last work at the Forest Service, and not just for the summer but permanently. Why? Well, I needed some new experiences. I have a few ideas, such as possibly doing a ministry over the summer, or going to summer school, or even working at some mere McDonald's. I say that becuase I want to do something for some new experience. I want to move beyond what I've been doing for the past 5 summers (something that I won't be doing permanently anyhow) and get on with new things.

So this upcoming Saturday Rebecca is heading back to San Diego to start school on Monday. :( But hey, its exciting. The school year will bring new and exciting things for the both of us. I head back sometime next week and have to go to some sign in thing on Friday the 26th. I looked at the calendar and it appears to be an all day thing. I truly hope not, but it more than likely will. Aaargh. Oh well, maybe it will be fun. I will set my mind to being more optimistic on the subject.

I do admit that I am excited to head back down and live with my totally rad cousins. They are the greatest. Of course, Toby is okay too, but we only make him believe that from time to time. HAHA! That's right Toby!! I'M SHOUTING!!!!!

I finally decided to read Chainfire. I didn't want to read the book right when I got it because I knew I would have to wait another 14 months before his next book came out. So now, here I am, TOTALLY submerged into the series again and I can never seem to put it down. I would have to claim that it is probably one of his best books in his series so far.

And now I must give praise to my LORD for the wonderful people in my life. To you, my beloved cousins who have always been a sincere joy in my life; to my parents for all their love that they showered me with over the past 21 years; to Ryan, my brother at heart; to Damian, whose friendship has kept me accountable and aspired me to reach out to the LORD for more; to Rebecca, who has made me always want to be a better person for my God and my friends, and who makes me strive to do my best in all I do. And to all my other friends and family that I have not mentioned, there are simply too many. I love you all and I am FOREVER grateful and thankful for having you as an important and vital part of my life.

....And Cyrus too. LOL j/k LOVE YA BROTHER!!!!
